Life plays

Once upon a dark moon
Love flew out of my hands
No more a confused toon
I begot an encaged fence
In there, I learned to dance
To the play of life
To the play of fate
When she decides to wait
For me to grab the bait
Of all that leaves me insatiate

Once upon a dark moon
I learned to swoon
At the real
At the spiritual
Instead of indulging in the unreal
For that which shows us the boreal
Has Beauty in its shell
Yet, it is a mere temporary apparel

Thus singeth my own lyre
Seek, seek, that which is beyond the pyre!

In a hotel room

Eons ago, in a hotel room,
I came face to face with doom!
Danger did loom
There in that dark room!

A ghoul seated on a broom
Appeared in the bedroom
And sprinkled some gloom
On my soul, so in need of a bloom!

Ready to be my bridegroom
Our union to be proclaimed in the ballroom
He called out to the groom
To have a festive lunchroom!

When I found strength to be a boom
I called out with my heart's zoom
And my Lord removed my gloom
By dissipating my cursed brume!

Eons ago, in a hotel room
I begot a boon, and a re-gloom
And my soul began to re-groom
For at last, I had found my real room!

Burning Embers

Alive are my embers
Alive in great numbers

Taking life from my dreams
Those irreal ones, so it seems

Yet, their motto is to burn and to flare
Even when without an ounce of air

Having their basis in hope
They make me climb every slope

A dream or a sign
To discard, I would never deign!

A mystery brought forth in a temple
When misery and despair came in ample!

Alive are still my embers
A decade later life still clambers

Yet, as long as I breathe and write
My embers shall bring me to my light

Flying like the Sparrow

Once I flew like the sparrow
Free, devoid of any sorrow!
Without thinking of tomorrow
Without any care of falling low

Then came crashing the waves
So harsh, I could not even seek the caves
Nothing could shelter my bruises
Not even the powerful marquises!

All of my humanity was lost
Every opportunity fate tossed
Kept me all stony
Devoid of any harmony!

Hope sparkled the day I received
A sign from the Lord,  so aggrieved
The only truth I chose to believe
For, my heart He accepted, as I was naive!

Then I flew like the falcon
Strong, bold and confident
Faced with obstacles, I easily won
And remained impassive amidst the transcient!

Caring only for my Lord
Hungering only for his abode
I sing for Him this ode
Hear, oh do hear, this lovely word!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
