Graced did I feel, from my seated position
Graced indeed, for looking at me, were two eyes made of
perfection
Two little eyes, hidden between two ears overloaded with majesty
Carefully scrutinizing my being, listening intently to my
prayers
Begging was I, begging from Lord Ganesha, for answers
But I only begot a cute silence
Yes, see, said I to
myself, this world is made of such
Here, answers related to the divine are difficult to fetch
Yet, faith clings on to my heart
As if the teachings of the universe those two eyes on me did
want to impart
Thought I, unnecessary lamenting and tantrum-ing will be of
no use
Yes, here in this world, one does never gain, rather, one
does always lose
Looked I once more at those two eyes
On the old and torn calendar, they did seem to be the best
accessories
On a mysterious figure they may seem to be
A figure composed of an elephant head and a human body
Yet, they do calm me down
Yes, indeed, they do easily melt my soul’s frown
Yes, life does be mystery, life does be for us, human
beings, a mere travel
Someday, somehow, even if be at the time of death, life’s
puzzles we shall all unravel
Meanwhile, I do choose to go with life’s flow
Knowing that the comforting eyes of Lord Ganesha do form
part of my shadow
Yes, I shall arm myself with strength and face my tomorrow
Indeed, it is of no use engraving on my soul, loads and
loads of sorrow
See, said I to myself
Answers did come by themselves
Silent was the figure on the calendar
Yet, in my mind, a conversation made of the mystical, did
happen!
