Adamance~~~~

I shall die with the skies' wish pulsating in my heart
Even if no one understood me
Even if no one else saw the tears
Felt the pain
Or even saw my hidden struggles!

I shall die with this faith ringing loud in my heart
As,
Such remains the essence of my life
Such, yes, only such,
Watered with the droplets of love,
Can give me sooth!

Love, still,
Which remains so aloof,
Distant, uncaring even
Not seeing the need to shelter me
From the storm which rages in me!

I shall make of myself an agonising moth
Seeking solely for the light of the skies
I shall turn into a freshly planted seed
Thirsting for water to survive
I shall morph into the shadows
Hoping, desperately that the sun's rays would purify me
I shall turn into my own tears
And merge with the raging ocean
If such is what the skies wish for me!

Love, though, bound by previous births,
Remains my aim!
Wish I the skies would thrust upon him
The same awakening which they thrust upon me
So that,
Aware of his own purpose,
He would take my hand in his
And hold it
As if, it were,
The bridge to the land of youth and joy!

I shall die with the skies' wish pulsating in my heart
As doing otherwise
Is simply unacceptable
For my soul!
Why, would the Goddess incarnate herself
Have been able to accept anyone else's warmth
Other than the God of Love
When tied they both were to the fate that bound them together?

A woman, as one~~~~~

Is being woman a burden
So much that, constantly,
The woman requires protection,
Relies on dependency
And on the good faith of man?

Why, living as a woman in a shadowy world
Has had me experiencing the shudders of pain,
The pangs of rejection,
The needs to be blameless at all times,
And the requirements to be perfect!

A woman, as one,
I am to know when to open my mouth,
When to smile,
When to hide my tears,
When to pretend,
When to be strong,
When to act unaffected,
And when to seem to enjoy life!

But I do wonder, if, someday,
While I shall enjoy the eternal blooms of Eden,
I shall feel this burden of being a woman weigh on me
I wonder,
If I shall be assessed as a mere piece of merchandise
Instead of having my secret diary opened up
And read
As one of the masterpieces of creation?

Why, is it
Is it the shadow of Eve's fall that we, women
Do carry with us
Is it her sins that weigh on our hearts
And make us feel, like,
Unless we resort to being perfect on the whole
We shall never find acceptance?

The Urges of Love

And if I pushed you to the ground
Tied you up with tight knots
And demanded, ferociously,
From your eyes,
Sparks of love,
Would you give them to me?

Would you satisfy my craving
And allow me to recline over you
As contentedly as a well fed lioness
Seeking now, nothing else
Except for some cuddles before
Diving into the pool of reality
Whereby the layers of existence
Reveal themselves
And allow beings to see the meaning of their lives?

And if I bit you to the extent as to hurt you
To cause you to bleed
While I'll sip on your blood
As only such shall be able to give me joy
By allowing your imprints to grow in me
And wings to grow on both of our backs
So that, in the snap of fingers,
We'll discard off our human attires
And fly there to where we belong
With high flying beats resounding in our hearts
Will you love me
Or will you see me as a monster?

And if I chose to succumb into your expanse
To the extent of losing my own self
Into adorning myself of yours
Knowing that anything else shall make me miserable
Would you play for me,
The beats of the magical lyres
Would you act out for me,
The scenes of a written story
And would you sing for me
Those odes which you keep well hidden in your heart?

Rescued~~~~

The night sky,
Having sculpted in its darkness,
The eternal love Gods embracing each other,
Sensed my distress through my silence
And,
Like the most caring friend that it remains,
Poked me,
With its glittery fingers,
While keeping pasted on its face,
A questioning look accompanied by a chuckle!

Where have you been?
Your absence is being felt in all celestial realms
Why have you been remaining so silent,
Withdrawn, hidden, locked away in your own company?

My heart heaved,
My throat tightened up
Tears swelled up and hung at the brim of my eyelids,
Causing me to bite my lips harshly!

The poet in me is dying,
Whispered I to it in between choking breaths
This world's weight is too burdensome
For my frail self
Love remains cruel and cold
So much that the emptiness in me
Has grown from being a tiny space
To being a colossal empire!

The poet in me is dying,
The colossal emptiness
Has engulfed my soul, as if,
It were a giant tentacled sea creature
And I,
A mere raft!
Suffocating, hurting, broken up,
I had chosen to let myself be dragged
To its unfathomable abysses!

The night sky,
Reached out to me with its glittery hands,
Picked me up from where I was sitting,
And cradled me as if it were my caring mother
Have you not proclaimed yourself to belong to the skies,
Asked it to me
Have you not been given a hint of your path
Have you not been willed a most mystical rescue?

Pray, if it is all about love's ache
Have you not been whispered about it being
That which has been decreed as being the rightful
By the power controlling Fate itself?

Love,
Remains the mystery of my depths
The mystery which Man shall keep seeking
As long as they shall be!

Love,
Remains the enigma
Which pushes its breath into embryos
To allow life to sustain itself!

Love,
Remains submitting into blinded abandonment
To allow the Lover to mutilate you into pieces
Should he feel that such is what he wishes to!

Love,
Remains exemplified by the story lived by eternal Gods of Love
When Time was still young,
And when Faith still flew along with the winds
Scattering itself into bursts of hope
Into each and everyone's hearts!

Renewed by its words,
I hugged the night sky
And placed on its cold cheeks
A grateful kiss
While it gently placed me at my table
For another session of poetical indulgence!

The other side of Freedom~~~

Freedom belongs to me as it belongs to life
Freedom implies
That, like the waves,
I can roar and rage
As much as I desire to
But like the shores,
Stoic and unmoved,
Life can spit at me,
That which it deems best
Rather than that which I tantrum for!

Freedom makes of me
That which I am
In my own individuality
While giving the rest of the world
Enough space
To accept me as I am
And to discard me if deemed not fit!

Why, freedom tastes as exquisite as menthol
Flowing down the throat
Freedom feels as pleasurable
As a cosy evening chat around a coffee
Freedom allows differences to be accepted
Scars and open sores to be kissed
Ugliness to be hugged tight
Miracles to occur for all to see
And life to tread on its own fated path!

Yet, freedom also gives life
The opportunity to choose
To tread on another path
If so does it deem best
After all, is the other name of freedom
Not known as Love?

Like Love~~~

Like a leaf
I keep being blown by the winds!

Like the moon
I take delight of the night sky!

Like the owl
I roam, all alone and lament at darkness!

Like the rose
I glow, in my own way!

Like honey
I taste of exquisiteness!

Like the waves
I keep struggling to copulate with the shores!

Like the mermaids
I keep singing songs of hypnotism!

Like fairies
I keep enjoying moments lost in play!

Like a Goddess
I keep suffering the pangs of separation from my God!

Like dusk
I keep expecting the dawn!

Like a poem
I keep yearning to be read!

And like Love,
I keep thirsting for the Beloved!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
