I shall die with the skies' wish pulsating in my heart
Even if no one understood me
Even if no one else saw the tears
Felt the pain
Or even saw my hidden struggles!
I shall die with this faith ringing loud in my heart
As,
Such remains the essence of my life
Such, yes, only such,
Watered with the droplets of love,
Can give me sooth!
Love, still,
Which remains so aloof,
Distant, uncaring even
Not seeing the need to shelter me
From the storm which rages in me!
I shall make of myself an agonising moth
Seeking solely for the light of the skies
I shall turn into a freshly planted seed
Thirsting for water to survive
I shall morph into the shadows
Hoping, desperately that the sun's rays would purify me
I shall turn into my own tears
And merge with the raging ocean
If such is what the skies wish for me!
Love, though, bound by previous births,
Remains my aim!
Wish I the skies would thrust upon him
The same awakening which they thrust upon me
So that,
Aware of his own purpose,
He would take my hand in his
And hold it
As if, it were,
The bridge to the land of youth and joy!
I shall die with the skies' wish pulsating in my heart
As doing otherwise
Is simply unacceptable
For my soul!
Why, would the Goddess incarnate herself
Have been able to accept anyone else's warmth
Other than the God of Love
When tied they both were to the fate that bound them together?
