Frozen bones, chilled blood
Why, winter is already well settled

Raspy coughs, runny noses
How dull not to be able to inhale the fragrance of roses

Forgotten shall be the summer dresses, the sexy shorts
Revived shall now the pants, the pullovers, the jackets

Winter does be rough and tough
Winter does cause us all to want to remain all aloof

Sheltered and feeling the warmth and the comfort of our homes

Shivering I am, yet, still am I with a pen in hand

To be made of humanity is to be apt to make mistakes

As if we are born with the need to be all pure and clear
As if we are know it alls, having abilities to predict and prevent mistakes

Why, Mind you, to be made of humanity requires us to be kind to ourselves

To accept that to mistakes we are so prone, even if we desire not of such
