When Love turns to hate~~~

See, see how versatile is that known as love
It begins today and makes you fly high
As early as tomorrow, it readily takes a forbidden drive
The day after, it shall answer the question, "do you?" with nay

See you somehow how is it a futility
Always does it make one feel so needy
Always does it make one dream of grand castles
Always does it end after going through grand battles

Famous is that quote which says that love turns to hate
When such happens, you do wonder about your choice of a mate
It bothers you to such an extent
That you get lost in your own torment

In just a moment, life turns into nothingness
All for the sake of that one love
Those sparks of bliss which have turned to bitterness
Oh surely for those first beats of that heart you do crave!

But, hey, what is it that I do hear
To ashes you have sent your peer
With a cruel twist of your mind
You have sinfully left the agreed line!

Love, the beautiful word for that known as lust
Is it still today, for the innocents, an object of must
I simply choose to keep myself away
If the threat of being lethally mauled is at bay!

Would you blame it on the mindset?
Are you agreeable to this new facet?
That feminism mixed with a culture not too favorable for the man
Turns him into Macbeth, right after he has just soiled his hand?

My Friend~~~

Once in my dark room, came in front of me
A unicorn all white and bright
Covered with gold, he was all shiny
And bid me to have no fright
For he is not my enemy!

He did sit down and held his trophy
I was to ride on him
To the world of serenity
There, I shall act as goes my whim
For he is a friend, not an enemy!

I did as he asked, and after swearing secrecy
Rode up to the high clouds
There, I sang and danced for an eternity
Till came Death, so proud!
And He said, I verily am your enemy!

All shaken and frightened, I lost sense of reality
Ready I was to follow Death to His murky realm
When came my unicorn so ready to do his duty
And to my thrills, he bid to calm
For he is not my enemy!

My lovely friend died instead of me
I was left to enjoy the high clouds
Though I had lots of liberty
I cried always out loud
For I have lost my friend, the one who was not an enemy!

On this Valentine~~~

On this Valentine's Day, here goes a few words to the world
Some of these shall be taken into account by the lovers
Some shall be understood by the bachelors
And some of them shall be sung by the love bards!

Love emanates from the heart
And fills our breath in all of its part
Love feels like a ride on a ship
A ship having embarked on an everlasting trip

Love is like going on a yet unknown journey
While following its course, nothing matters
Not even a lack of money
Not even the useless chatters

Love involves a sense of voluntary sacrifice
Binding us not, it strikes us like an artifice
Known by some as a compromise
It nevertheless shows us the way to our own solstice

Love requires time
Time to listen to the lover's chime
Time to share a bit of what we have
Time to give whatever we have, without any regret!

Love needs no particular reason
With luck, it comes and stays for a lifetime
Sometimes it comes and goes, like the seasons
Sometimes, whether it stays or goes away, it wills us to pen down a rhyme

Love starts not by having a partner, a lover or a spouse
Love roots first in having some feelings for oneself
Love yourself first, said a wise man
Then, learn to share it by lending to someone, your hand!

Celebrated today is that known as love
Whether you be single or in a couple
Pray, be in love in ample

For to be is in itself an act of love!

If God had wanted it~~~~

If God had wanted it to be a truth
Today, my fate would have been linked to him
Linked to the one who can grant me sooth
The one for whom my tears have filled my life to its brim

If God had wanted it to be the essence of my life
He would have done so without a second thought
Realization does hit me, I am to be filled with reality's breath
Yet why is it that I still long for him, as if i was a forest undergoing a drought

Surely God does have His plausible reasons
After all who does question His actions
It is said that everything happens for the best
Everything that happens is just a token of a test

A test, testing all that we are made of
Are we made of feelings, are we made of love
Are we not simply selfish and materialist
Wishing to get rich and why not even be labelled as racist

Why, if God had wanted it,
He would have made of him an artist
But such is not given to everyone's line
So he made of him, an arrogant, as if he was revered in a holy shrine!

Such a man, tell me, is he adorable?
Is he not simply despicable?
I somehow still pray that somehow, his heart does open
And no more shall he see love as being a burden!

Husbands are in heaven whose wives scold not

So much emphasis is placed today on the role of the wife
She is to be pure, pristine, just, hardworking
She is to imbibe all who surround her with faith
She needs to be able to know everything without ever asking

She is to be the woman behind her husband
The one who would make of him a gem
To be a wife, is surely a complicated state
Acted out badly, one can even be a contraband!

But what of the duties of a man,
Is he as important as the woman
To be a husband requires one only to work and bring money
To care not whether the home is, without him, in harmony

Husbands are in heaven whose wives scold not
Husbands have rights, rights to use words of spite
Rights to beat, rights to abuse
Rights even to cheat, to hurt and bruise

When the woman speaks out, or scolds such a man
She becomes something seen by some as a legend
Seen by others as un-womanly
Whatever, she knows how to protect herself through her duty

What of those men whose wives scold not
Should they be brought back to the pot
To be cooked and simmered
To be brought to the right path

Feminists, equal rights, equal opportunities
Women's places no more being in the kitchen
Husbands, change your mentalities

We, women, we are frail and easily broken!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
