Vivid and Misty~~~~

You might like to lend me an ear
So I might tell you something you'd like to hear
My most whimsical, my most fantastic dream
The one in which I was a bonsai it would seem

It happened two nights ago
I went to bed with a heart full of sorrow
And prayed to the Lord of tomorrow
To help me go with life's flow

And I closed my eyes only to open them again
And looked around while trying to ascertain
Of what I had become
Of where I had come from

I had no feet, I had a root
I had no house, I had only a vase
And everything around me seemed bigger in space
Everything looked like stars in shoot

I watched life, silently, dumbly
I envied those who could move
I hoped to move with as much liberty
But I was stuck to this vasey grave

And I felt the despair
It was one to be hors pair
Never before my previous whims seemed so useless
Childish even, for I realised I was a pampered self

And that was when I woke up
It was just a dream, I said, shaken up
Thank God!  What about all those sorrows

Why they can go down the burrows!

A Christmas Carol~~~

If I had to describe Christmas through the eyes of a child at play
I would smile and feel the comfort of the sun's ray
For such a Christmas is surely like the end of the wars
The end of all that can cause pain and of all that did bring scars

If I had to describe Christmas through the eyes of the grown man
I would sign and say here comes the time to spend
All I earned after a whole year's of labour
About to be lost in as little as a wonder

If I had to describe Christmas through the eyes of the angels
I would cry and sing out to humanity, love spells
For such a time needs to be spent in love
By remembering the heavens and their mercy from up above

If I had to describe Christmas through the eyes of the rich
I would laugh and be thankful for my hunger does get quenched
And my close ones do not feel the painful itch
Of all those who are, with darkness, all drenched!

If I had to describe Christmas through the eyes of the poor
I would cry and lament oh for sure
Not even something to give to myself
Not even something to bring to my care, my health

If I had to describe Christmas through my own eyes
I would surely say, thank you to the skies
Thank you for all that you do bestow on mine fate
As for my struggles, pray, have faith, I shall accommodate

After a very busy and a very sad year
Let us all, on Christmas, say a prayer
To thank the heavens for our given dues
To thank the heavens for all of our healed bruises!

The arrows of Cupid~~~

There should be no laws
To counter the path of love
Love, sent by the God of arrows
Meant to rid us of our blows

Yet, should you try to understand its essence
I am sure you would simply end up more confused
For Love is surely worth a debate
Its mystery and ardor emanating from the unknown

Yet, should you fall in love
You have to be ready to bear with pain
For true love is never fulfilled
Rather, it ends up taking another route

There should indeed be no laws
Laws governing love makes it insane
Love thrives when it is free
Love dances when it is within its own limits

Love is also tainted with desire
And has become, as at date, known as lust
So lust has no route to follow
Except that of its instinctive satisfaction

And why does it not last
I do wonder with incredulity
Love strikes only once
And if you are lucky, for ever it shall thrive!

For if it does not, why does He be the God of Love
Is he no more existing?
Is he fed up with the deviation of love
Is he angry at the plight of humankind

Cupid, listen to the beating of my heart
After ages, it still calls for a lost part
One who, so cruel, broke me up in pieces

That today, none can mend me with stitches!

A Child's Christmas

Through his eyes, see that magical tree
See how it glistens and shines, so free
See its magical ray
Help him make of this day, his own day!

Dreams, hope, passion, all are in his eyes
All emanating from his belief in the skies
A belief given to him on a cold night
By the one to turn off his room light

In his smile, see how the world goes
Devoid of any useless sorrows
Always made up of countless of bows and arrows
Given by the one blessing all our tomorrows

On his face, see the beauty of joy
All because of one given toy
Given for the cause of the holy birth
The birth of the one who showed us our path

And in his hands, holding his colorful gift
Feel, feel, the change in mood
From saddened loneliness to exaltation
Such, such can only be at the time of a child's christmas

A child, blessed to be on this earth
A child unfortunate to have, over his head, no roof
A child missed by none
A child you pleased and blessed, with only one gift!

Guilty or not~~~

Does it make me evil,
Mean even
If I choose my right?

Do I have to be guilty
And hide my flame
If I choose to say No?

If you do see me as selfish
Pray, do keep to yourself
All that is in your mind

Your opinion, your voice
Could certainly not make any difference
Neither to my soul, nor to my world

I am only a device of the Lord
Made somehow in his own image
With lots of tricks up my sleeve

With desire, pain and passion
And I do only wish to be seen
As the one to have loved the words!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
