Brothers, Sisters and Laddoos

Enduring ties

Persisting through the dark skies

Lingering after bickering fights

All given as our due birthrights

A relation based on love and trust

Sharing makes it a must

Known as brotherhood or sisterhood

To protect our siblings in good mood

A Rakhi tied on a brother’s wrist

Laddoos eaten before a visit to the dentist

Gifts exchanged as part of fun

Laughter and joy meant to stun

Special thoughts to the brothers

Well cared for are you by the sisters

Much awaited is the next Rakhi

A yearly act of love even when we become oldie!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
