Brought to light by the ancient Greek Fathers
It gives us today loads of lively feathers
Encouraged by all modern law makers
It is a marvel for us all, freedomers!
A four syllable word it is
An immense power it decrees
Equal right to each citizen
Equal chance for all the batmen!
A fair system of governing
A power for the people, by the people
Made up of members of the people
To be sure their rights remain ruling!
Without it, revolving in autocracy
Life would be as sour as celibacy
No more free speech, no free press
No scandal exposed, not even in abruptness
Thou didst guess it right
Democracy celebrated with all its might
Legal advocation of freedom
Say it, Long live this bright kingdom!
