On this great day of May,
Love, dance and be merry, So do I say!
Love thy freedom
Love this little kingdom!
Graced we are, by the Lord
Let us give life a good accord
So that in return we shall get a reward
And to ourselves we shall give an award
That of enjoying our day
Celebrated hence in good play
O Day, Do not end so fast
For a lifetime, do last!
On this great day of May,
Shall we give to life a hurray
I say we do need to give it its due
For today, it does imbibe us with love's hue!
