Valentine Reveries

What if humans chose to love nature
What if they felt the close bond with drops of water
As these sparkled with the glare of the sun
On wet and muddy mornings
When taking long walks in forests
Would imply having bursts of laughter
At all times, for no particular reason!

What if humans chose to love themselves
Instead of searching for their missing piece in others
Others, bent too, on searching for their other half
But, being so closed, and so blind
To the fact that their missing piece needs not to be searched for
For it lies in themselves
Yes, if humans loved themselves
Love would not be a miserable dependence
Love would rather be a complimentary accessory
To life's signature attire!

What if humans chose to see the necessary
Instead of always chasing dreams
Dreams which end up as being so futile
So discordant with the exigencies of existence
Dreams which are nothing but temptations
Sent to us by the higher powers
To test our virtues
And our genuineness, when faced with them
And with ourselves!

Pray, what if humans chose to be humble
To act as is required of them
To elevate, to enlighten, to mend, to cure
To love, yes, to love
With purity and sincerity
As it was initially set out to be
Before the shades of leeriness invaded it!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
