Peace~~~

Have you ever wondered about what does it mean to be all peaceful
Does it involve being indifferent
Does it involve being selfish
Does it require you to close your eyes to everything that does be not fair

See, life does be all cruel even if it does seem to be so beautiful
Life does be made of diseases and all sorts of ailment
More, life does be made of evil beings, having as aim, to see you perish
So, how to be peaceful here, when all sorts of negativity abounds everywhere

Sages and wise men do say so many things on that matter
That live and let live does be the best motto
That life does not last forever
That we shall be judged someday, if not today, well, tomorrow

So, we should learn to be peaceful and blissful
It does make of the world a place so delightful
But how to be such, when those who surround you do be filled with venom
As if making war and causing harm to others does be their national anthem

Why, if you do choose to give them your other cheek to slap
You would be categorized as one with a mishap
If you do choose to turn your back and walk away without saying a word
You would be categorized as being a coward

So, how to promote peace when the world is filled with venomous beings
All wanting something or the other, all desiring something that you do possess
All caring not to be always, by the Gods of morality, all blessed
But all hoping to bring you down, to take your possessions as such would make of them, kings

Why, I do have the answer for such, yes indeed I do
See you, you should remember that the skies are not blue
That whatever you do see, whatever you do have, does belong not to you
That life has answers for so many things but it has not yet explained why it did come through

Faith, belief, trust in the holiness
It is all that is needed to be rid of war's mess
See you, even your body does belong not to you
You shall leave it here while you shall go in search of that which is true

Remember to do good always
Someday, some other power, on you, shall have their says
Then, you shall be rewarded or punished
But then, it shall be too late to mend your ways

Peace does not be so hard to attain
Peace should be our life's ruling word, the one main
Peace in ourselves, peace with due regard to others
Peace extending beyond our limits and reaching to the other borders!

Inculcated it can be, through education
Without it, life would just be a battleground, made of division
Why, peace, celebrate it
Of course, make of it a worldly treat!
