As dutiful children~~~~

Pray, does life on Earth have to keep on thriving?
Do we need to keep on reproducing
And protecting our offspring
So that,
One day, they do feel
This heavy gloom of life
As I do feel?

Life, ruled by Death,
By the mystery of our origin,
By the enigma of our purpose,
By the questionings of faith
By the constant testing of ourselves!

Why, does the world need more children
Does the world need more destruction
More pollution
More dilapidation of its gems
To reach, someday, a state of having
Those same offspring
That we produced
And protected
Wondering at their aim, their purpose,
Their meaning and the essence of their lives!

But then, the world itself is our mother,
If, we did stop reproducing and brought her
To exist all alone,
In a galaxy which would then,
Stare at her, ever so stonily,
Would she be happy?
Would she not feel the emptiness of her own existence
And lament at her separation from the skies;
The skies, being naught but the other part of her soul,
Would she not crumble,
Faced with the weight of her agony?

Why,
Even if the children of the world
Are changing and bringing forth
A new facet to its landscape,
Existence needs them,
As it would be void without them!

Pray,
The question of whether life has to keep on thriving
Is not up to us to answer,
Our lives are ruled not by us
Our lives are fate laden
To this enigmatic power we do have to submit
Blindly, dutifully,
Carrying out our toils without questioning
Till shall open to us
The windows of Truth!

Love, tell me~~~

If I cry openly Will it move you Love? Or do you feel stable Only when I smile and pretend That my blooms are wilting not That my moons...
