Life,
Cars flying by on lit roads at night
People swarming the malls
Offices opening and closing their doors
Mechanically
On a routine, daily
As if life has been understood
As if life is here and now
As if life is to be as such
Life,
Lust, anger, greed, jealousy
Hurt feelings,
Sexual satisfaction
Cruel intents
Selfish and egoistic means
Life,
Sorrowful music
Broken promises
Transient feelings
Life,
Taken for granted
By those who complain
By those ungrateful
Never happy with that which they have
That which the Lord bestowed on them
Shall I say to them
It is all so temporary
Be not so bent
Be not so obsessed
When your eyes will open up
You shall realise
You shall remember
You shall see
No more as a blinded fool
But as an enlightened being
Life
Meant to be as such
For a purpose
Have you ever doubted it?
Tell me
Or are you so engulfed in what you do
In what you want
In what you have
That you care not to count stars
That your heart beats not
When you realise that someday you shall be with God
Life,
A journey
A passage
A walk through a world
A world so sick
That it no longer can think!
