The year turns its page
The new one we all do welcome
It has indeed been a beautiful year
Even if at times it did make us all shed more than a tear
We did climb on new steps
We did try to grab the moon
We did even cry
We did even fault
Yet, in the end, we do remain thankful
We do remain submissive
Life is just a messy game
We all did lose some even if we did win some others
We did forgive, we have forgiven as well
So let us all, with love in our hearts, rise
Let us all say, we shall be strong
We shall need to, we shall definitely need to
This one year we shall not forget
For its warmth we shall always have some regret
Someday, we shall all look back and wish
Wish that things did never ever change!
Blessed year, to you we do bid adieu
A last day to celebrate your worth
Why, should the Lords of Heavens be happy, we shall be blessed again
Again, we shall see why we do need to smile even if we all do pain!
Sometimes, all we do need in life to smile is comfort
Health, security and company
Let us all forget our wants, those capricious ones
Those for which we did throw so many tantrums
In all, let us feel, yes, let us feel the love
Love for each and every part of the year
I am sure, it is the only way that more blessings would show themselves
So come on, as from now itself, let us all, do love, and do smile at everything!
